Weblogs

There are a great number of students are ordered to build weblogs by teachers as a part of their studies. Most students have no motivation or enthusiasm to write in their blog. Why? Because they do not believe that there will be some people reading their writing. So how to make them realise and get them to write? Jill Walker, a teacher in University of Bergen in Norway, has experiences about this issue. He knows that most students cannot get blogging without the help of teachers and they usually will not do it at home. It is difficult to get blogging when students are used to the learning environment where only examiner will see their work. When nobody else will read or follow their blog, they do not update or write much in their blogs. But once they realise that their writing were reading by others, their writing changed and it increases their enthusiasm.

I must say I am also that type of student who seldom update my blog if I know nobody will read my writing. This blog is a part of my assignment and it will effect to my grade, so at the moment I have enthusiasm to keep this blog updated. At the beginning it was difficult for me to think what kind of articles I could post here so it would attract friends and other people to visit constantly. I ultimately found the idea for in this blog. Since I really enjoy cooking and would like other people to taste Thai food so I came up with "Recipes!" idea. Here I am, writing all recipes that I have learned from cooking course and from other blogs. I had tried all these recipes before I posted here and all food photos were taken by me.

I have realised that this Blogger has random blog search "Next Blog" on the top of our main page which means someone I do not know may read my blog. At least I have read other people's blogs by clicking on that link. Moreover, there is "Share" link which I can share this blog thru my facebook and twitter. What a convenient and linking option Blogger has!
